The rather long and undulating layout unwinds in a valley bordered by woods and cypresses – the 18 holes on foot are for the most athletic, others may prefer to book a golf cart – peppered with bunkers with high edges that make getting out difficult. The course is completed by speedy greens that are impeccably maintained with slopes sometimes hard to read. If you are unfamiliar with the course, each hole must be studied, taking into consideration the slopes, the water hazards, the positions of the flags: in other words, it’s easier to get a good score if you’ve played it more than once. But the score is of relative importance when facing a landscape this beautiful, nestled in greenery and surrounded by tranquility.
