Golf a little disappointing

Flat, relatively narrow course. Some areas are covered with kikuyu rather than grass, which is unusual and complicates play. The condition of the course is good, but nothing more. A little disappointing. Carts supplied without water bottles. The golf clubs we rented were of lesser quality.

Ok and pretty.

I can’t do this as I broke my ankle on my first game on the East Golf course at the Verdura. But the Monasteri course looked a bit rough and the staff in the club house were not very helpful at all. I asked if they could give me a golf cart so that, at least, I could get around and the manager said that I would have to pay euro 60 per day and that it had to be returned by 18:00hrs, even although there were no lights around the hotel, which made hobbling on crutches rather a challenge. A total contrast with the excellent assistance I received from the staff at the Verdura.
